There will be, up until the election, those who simple will focus on the fact that she is both a woman and a black woman. (Not in a positive way).
The long tentacles of racism and sexism, I hope can be severed.
Focus on what she can do…her skills….experience….training… character…etc.
How she will perform as a Vice-president, period.
Now, the real work begins the spotlight on the goals of this new collaboration between Biden and Harris, in which we hope will bring a focus on police reform, an end to economic and healthcare disparity.
Real change and a structured plan in all areas. Economic recovery during & after this pandemic. So much more.
Laws must be made in cooperation with both the New President, the congress and each state including local elected officials with the best interests of the people in mind first.
I hope for the possibilty, embrace the power change that can occur.
