When Adult children say, “I wish You had done this….”.

I have admit I was blindsided, Sometimes dealing with the angry comments from an adult child can be a slap in the face…… all of a sudden it’s a list of all the things you did wrong or never taught them, when you were raising them. Of course, I realize I wasn’t perfect and do wish when looking back I’d done some things differently. I know I gave 100% of me, it was always you before me. I love you. This gives me comfort. But at the same time, it never feels good for your shortcomings to be harshly highlighted. (Which have be addressed and apologized for in the past. There is a point when they should forgive, (Not forget) for their own mental happiness.
